The arch of hysteria / Zuriñe Benavente
Premiered on May 9, 2015 at the opening of the exhibition CONSCIOUS KNOWLEDGE IN THE GENUINE CREATIVE PROCESS, IGORREKO KULTUR ETXEA

A dance solo entitled “Arch of Hysteria” in homage to the work of Louise Bourgeois. It is a 10-minute contemporary dance piece in which all the action takes place around a chair. The music is inspired by Satie’s Gymnopedia No. 1, which is transformed with prepared piano sounds.
